Some elements of décor, are so, well, elemental, we don't even notice them.
This could be said of waves. Yes, waves. Waves might mean something resembling the ocean's tide, pushing and pulling water, and it might also mean the basic shape itself even down to its iconized form—invisible sound waves we cannot see, rays of light. Repeated patterns of waves and natural-feeling curved lines have frequently featured in elegant interiors, no doubt relished for their harmonious vibe. Yet we probably don't even notice them.
