Some elements of décor, are so, well, elemental, we don't even notice them. 

This could be said of waves. Yes, waves. Waves might mean something resembling the ocean's tide, pushing and pulling water, and it might also mean the basic shape itself even down to its iconized form—invisible sound waves we cannot see, rays of light. Repeated patterns of waves and natural-feeling curved lines have frequently featured in elegant interiors, no doubt relished for their harmonious vibe. Yet we probably don't even notice them.

Think of the art deco motif that's actually an ancient Asian pattern you've seen a hundred times. 

Some things found in nature seem to have a subtle relaxing effect on us even when reproduced in our living spaces or brought indoors. To this category, we can assuredly add waves, in any form. This almost subliminal calming effect makes wave patterns an ideal choice for the home.  

Luma

It's easy to weave waves into your décor, whether it's through patterns in wallcoverings or window treatments or works of art.

With a lift from Corbett, you might also add waves into your layered décor scheme through the light fixtures. Several of our fixtures feature elegant wavy lines, often enhanced by hand-applied finishes.

Chimera

One of the innovative and charming things about these pieces is that rather than use straight, even hoops, they have pieces of metal that bend and curve and undulate in singular waves. Hand-applied finishes deepen this feel of flow, as well as adding yet another texture. Hanging from these wavy hoops are layers of various glamorous materials that  diffuse the light beautifully and deliver a large dose of drama.

A closer look at the wavy lines in Corbett fixtures reveals that the intervals of crest and valley in the waves have an organic feel. This arises from the hand-made artisanal process which gives our brand's distinctive lights an authentic quality and an artistry that places them at the high-end.
